They are a high end name and the shop only sells those products. The staff told me they were trained by the company and Also do beauty treatments. I was told the particular lady dealing with me travelled all over the world training other staff. Most high street store products such as body shop cause problems for me which is why I sadly have to look at ‘high end’ products. If I hadn’t reacted to it I would have been ok with the price and just happy to have something I could have used. I wouldn’t have wanted to take it back. Some of you will perceive me as naive, perhaps but I hoped I’d get something usable from knowledgeable staff which I feel we should be able to expect from such a level of product.
Thanks for the input I am going to go back into the shop, I’ve nothing pressing to do today, and see if I can get an answer from them. I’ll update later. Have a good day.

Could you argue that in the cases of potential allergy you should have been given at least 24 hours to see if a reaction developed before purchasing the goods ?

You'd be better looking at high quality products like the French brand La Roche -posay

In future you'd be better off trying to work out the specific ingredients your skin reacts to. However "high end" or carefully sourced a product is, someone somewhere will be allergic to it. It's not possible to make a product that no one will react to.
I have sensitive skin and would always try something and then wait a day or two before buying as reactions aren't always going to be immediate.

Do you ever have reactions to any food at all? How sure are you it was the cream?
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Which company is selling products that cause cancer?
The bigger concern is the number of products that contain dihydrogen monoxide - google it, it's really concerning.

The amount of deaths caused by this stuff each year is incredible. I am so surprised more people aren't complaining about the stuff! They reckon even most soft drinks have it in now!

La Roche Posay is the only brand I have never had a reaction to and a lot of their products are not even that expensive compared to the premium brands. I actually find the premium brands far worse for sensitive skin as they stuff their products with tons of fancy ingredients to justify the price. Even the 'natural' expensive brands tend to use a lot of essential oils which really upset my skin.

Even some of the drink manufacturers admit they use in in their drinks! Some even list it on their ingredients!
