CP Plus Parking Fine

Hi
I have received a Parking Charge notice from CP Plus as I parked in a retail centre for 48 minutes over the 3 allocated hours.

Firstly, I was genuinely unaware of the 3 hours restriction. Secondly, I visited various shops and met friends for coffee then lunch. No way was I going to be less than 3 hours! Do they know what women are like!

I dont understand how the likes or Costa and Next allow such limits. Surely its not good for their business.

Also bear in mind that I have a 10 week old baby who needed feeding and changing in this time which can also take up time. I just dont understand how shops and retail shops on the high street are failing and yet they penalise people who spend money and spend the day in these parks.

Can anyone advise?
