Station parking fine

Hi Guys,
Some advice and suggestion, please. Really worried!
A few days ago, I went to pick up a friend at Wakefield Westgate station. I parked across two disabled spots just for a minute or so while he was putting his luggage in the boot. It was literally just a minute - it was essentially a pickup, but I had parked across two disabled spots.
I am a bit worried that I may get a fine if they do regular checks on CCTV camera. I have never been given a parking fine so far - touchwood! - and I am not sure what the rules are regarding parking fines. I mean, how much do I have to pay, if I will be prosecuted, things like that.

So you have received nothing as yet?
There are too many variable answers to your question/s, suggest if you do receive something in the post you come back ON THE SAME THREAD!! and tell us what you have got, if of course you get anything? it's all very hypothetical at the moment.0 -
No, I have received nothing yet. I am wondering if I will get anything. Anyone knows if stations have CCTvs and whether they use to check parking?0

As I have said its all hypothetical, you may get something you may not!.
Were there any "warning" signs?
Did you enter a private land parking area?
Did you see any ANPR cameras? (these are VERY different to CCTV)
The list is endless, if you get a PCN through the post or something similar to that then come back and post about it, there are plenty of knowledgeable people on here that can help you, otherwise you are worrying about something that may not even happen and that is, well pointless!!!0 -

There is an Indigo thread linked in the Q&A in the NEWBIES FAQS thread, that tells all.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
