As I said before, I only used the word "hacked" as that is what the eBay CS lady said,
I thought I would have to take a "financial hit" as I just assumed that eBay would refund the money and chase me for the money, but soolin has pointed out that He would get it returned on 30 days.
The buyer hasn't responded to me anymore, so I'm just going to have to let it run its course.
I appreciate everyone's helpLBM March 2015. Started DMP 1/6/15.

Ebay may action a refund but they don't hold the funds, they only have the power to reverse an actual payment. If you never received the payment, you cannot be held for the cost of the refund of such payment.
To be fair to the buyer he's probably suspecting a scam......if I were him I would INR and have no further contact too. Nothing personal, it's just the way it is.0 -

I get the buyers viewpoint to, I guess I just hate the idea that someone somewhere thinks I'm trying to scam them!
Anyway, ive spent the whole day getting stressed out over this, when in reality, there's little I can do at this point. I've certainly learnt I need to be extremely thorough if/when I ever list something again.LBM March 2015. Started DMP 1/6/15.
