Browsing resolver helping someone else I spotted topshop who I had a card with from 98-10 half of that paying off debt. So I sent off a letter.

Got a letter from Santander saying they're looking into it, then a phone call where they wanted me to confirm why I was complaining, I have Epilepsy and didn't qualify, and all postcodes back to 98 :huh: that was hard.

I've recently heard again and they're paying me £650 with a warning that they've guessed some of it because they don't have records prior to 05. I won't bother challenging it because I don't have the paperwork either.

Happy with this because I'd totally forgotten about this card.

Hi, thanks for posting your story. I also had a Topshop card around those dates. Where did you find the correct address to write to? I have no documentation for the account. Did you have any?

I used resolver, they automatically add and send it to the right address and I had no paperwork, just the details I could remember, my address at the time, name before I married that's it.

I just had to send them ID to prove the name change to get my money.
