Storing mdf product in cold garage

I have purchased a folding pool table which I presume is made out of mdf laminate, see link below:

Due to its size I was hoping to store folded up in garage when not in use, as garage is external and can get cold and damp in winter what would be the best way to protect it? A blanket? Plastic cover? Any particular material. I’m assuming not the cardboard box it came in as this would obviously get damp in winter.

I'm a greenfield sight for sore eyes, and sore eyes are just needing the light, the shapes, and the shadows of the space we share, before it splits into Thin Air.

I can't see the cold being a problem, but yes the damp would be, not only if it gets into the wood but also if it damages the felt.
Where's the damp coming from, can you fix the damp problem? I'd have thought it should be fine in a cold but dry garage, but I'd still wrap it in something though as you can get mice getting into garages and I'm sure they'd love a nice felt nest!0 -

It will be from condensation and rain water coming in from under the door. If the floor doesn't have a DPC, then there will also be a certain amount of damp coming up through the concrete.
A garage is not the best place to store anything that will be affected by damp. The OP could try wrapping the table in a plastic sheet and make sure all loose edges are taped up, but damp will still find its way in.Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0
