    Morning All

So sorry things aren't better for you TA, hope you managed to get some sleep.
Lovely day for your drive home Gers!
    Happy Anniversary AOD.
    Your holiday sounds perfect Speky.

I went to DDs after work and cut the front and back grass. I'll go back later this afternoon to do some weeding of the paths. DD was busy scraping more wallpaper. I've borrowed another steam stripper from friends so her BF can get involved (he's not the DIY type but I'll make him feel guilty enough to use it!).

Yoga this morning then it's the community garden open day, I'll go along for a while to show face and take my baking but it's not really my thing so wont stay long.

Washing already on the line as it's lovely and sunny for a change.

Have a good weekend, take care. XX

Morning all and thanks for the start Holly.

It’s a lovely bright morning but really quite chilly and have to admit I didn’t want to get out of bed but I could hear little dog moving around downstairs and wondered if she needed to go out which she did. Now enjoying first cuppa of the day but wrapped up in long PJ ‘S and a fleece top.
I want to get some bread made this morning and start processing some of the apples off the tree, there seems to be a lot this year. Other than that and a trip to see the lovely Lu not much else planned.
I really hope that you managed some sleep TA and that MrTA is a tad more comfortable now, thoughts are with you all.
Happy Anniversary AOD enjoy your day.
Hugs and strength to all poorlies or those caring for poorly loved ones.

    Take care folks x

    Good morning everyone,

It's a bit chilly with the back door open for the dogs but the sun is shining so I hope it's going to be a nice day. Steve is making noises about doing a cooked breakfast so I am looking forward to that. The kids are asleep at the moment although the smell of bacon cooking usually brings them downstairs.

My friend came to see me yesterday but she was very unwell with her bipolar so I am hoping she stays safe and sound at home today. She has been under so much stress since her son died 3 years ago and now her husband has the start of dementia so I am not surprised really.

Sending the TA's massive hugs and I also wish there was something more we could do xx
Happy Anniversary AOD, hope you have a lovely day xx
Hugs to you NannyWindow as well xx

I don't seem to have much to say today so I will love you all and leave you. Hope you have a nice Bank Holiday weekend everyone, take care xx

Such a dreadful time for you TA you must be exhausted. I lost my husband a couple of years ago and when he was in Critical Care I can remember the feelings of shock and disbelief. I know you have a lovely family so let them help you all they can.

    Happy Anniversary AOD.

Well I promised myself I would clean the conservatory before I go out but may need a coffee boost first!
  • Morning all

Thanks for the thread Holly, hugs to all in need especially the TS's.

Chilly here this morning but bright and sunny I may do some washing later.

    Have a good day everyone.
    Hugs Hester

    Morning :)

Sad to read about another difficult day for the TAs :( its time you were cut a little bit of a break. No use I know but my thoughts are always with you.

AOD Happy Anniversary have a lovely day spoiling each other

Chucking it down again here so as they say when you are handed lemons ...so to save me a job soaking the baskets they are now all on the lawn enjoying a natural soaking looks set in for a few hours so putting the washing off again

Nothing wildly exciting happening today just the usual befriending call and a house tidy. I have a charity bag to fill by Tuesday for collection so that shouldn't be too hard really could do with some wardrobe space as everything is crammed in at the moment. I confess though I am so bad at flinging stuff i have an annoying little voice that tells me its really nice and I should keep it not useful. Small steps one bag at a time

Food wise had pizza last night loads left so as I have zero space in the freezer thats on the menu again later. Could do with a way to zhush it up.

Anyway have a good holiday weekend everyone if you can

Thank you TA for the heads up about urinary sepsis.
First of all may I wish you both well and hopes of a quick recovery for your OH.
My husband is also suffering a urinary infection & he's been uncharacteristcally ill with it. I'll now be looking out for him showing the symptoms I've researched on the basis of your post.

  • Morning ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) if you need one.

Sorry sorry TA that your husband is in hospital again, I hope that they are able to make a quick diagnosis and get some treatment.

    AOL happy anniversary.

Head CA came yesterday it has been agreed that OH goes forward for continued care when the present people finish in 2 weeks. I just need to sort out Age UK and see what they can do for us, if anything. I be able to take OH in for a few hours would be a great help, there are also things we can go to together.

He is getting stronger but still wobbly on his legs, his confidence got very dented again whilst he was in hospital. I am hoping to get him out for a short walk a bit later.

Fridge freezer is in and working, boy its a biggy. I now have 2 empty drawers in the sewing room freezer, all the meat and fish etc are now in the kitchen freezer. I have enough meat to last about 6 weeks along with fish.

I have managed to do the bit of ironing and also mended a shirt and a PJ jacket, they seem to just rip things off in hospital this is the second time I have had to mend the shirt.

Quiche with salad and new spuds I think for supper tonight. need to sort out a dessert, possibly banana again with ice cream.

TA I hope you've at least managed a bit of rest. (((HUGS)))

Happy Anniversary Mr & Mrs AOD

It must be chillier today – Cookie didn't want to get off the bed to go for her early-morning wee; I had to go and get her lead, and insist she went outside.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
