OPUS upheld PPI Claim

Hello everyone,
I have received an answer from Opus in which they offer me a payment for misold PPI.
At first I got pretty excited, but now I wondered, why they are so quick to jump to an offer? Should I maybe seek advice from an Omudsman to see if I can squeeze out more of them?
I am not being greedy here. Considering they ruined me financially with an APR of nearly 50% I have no remorse lol.
Any advice if it would make sense or do you guys think the amount offered must be pretty accurate with what is owed? Also any experience of how long it takes until you actually receive the offered amount?
TIA

The redress is defined by the Regulator as a full refund plus 8% interest. Contacting the Ombudsman if your complaint has been successful is therefore a waste of time.0

Because an upheld complaint requires them to follow the FCA prescribed redress calculation and tell you what that is.Should I maybe seek advice from an Omudsman to see if I can squeeze out more of them?
It isnt a haggling competition. The calculation is set by the FCA.I am not being greedy here.
Really?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
always laugh when someone says its not about the money
ok. sorry for the mistake can i close the complaint?

this makes me laugh. you've been watching too many CMC adverts where they claim you are entitled to amounts upwards of XXX. there's no such cap. it's defined by what you the individual paid. then an FCA guideline defined calculation is made. no you aren't owed more. don't waste FOS time.0
