Expired credit cards and balance transfers

Hi there

I have a rather old MBNA account thats been suspended, and they haven't issued a new card - I have a new 0% card that I want to transfer the remaining balance too. Is there any way I can do this with the expiry date having long since past?

    Hi,

Are you saying the MBNA suspended account has an outstanding balance?

  • Thats correct.

The account ia still with MBNA, and they are still taking payment, its just suspended so they wont issue a new card
  • I suppose you could always *try* the balance transfer and see what happens. I can't see anything bad coming from you doing so...
