Another year another HB overpayment

    put a formal complaint in to the HB department outlining your concerns, what you have done and the outcome you would like. a senior assessor or manager can the go through your claim with a fine tooth comb for last two years to make sure everything is correct. the chances of reduction or compensation or good will gesture for their mistake is pretty much zero

    however, as said, if the overpayment is legit and correct, regardless of the fault and incompetence, it still needs to be paid.

    i know it is not what you want to hear, but it is what it is.

    Well I've got them. I searched old mobile bills and gave them both times and dates when I phoned them to notify them of changes. I phoned them up stating this they say they have no record. Very convenient, I must say. I have put this in writing and await a reply. Is there anything else I can do? This is all down to whoever answers the phone not doing as required or simply can't be bothered to. I also mentioned the pack of lies I got told last Wednesday when I phoned up to inquire why my money wasn't in, they said they can't listen to the call.
