Should I complain?

    I had a bad experience with a Tesco delivery a couple of years ago, they didn't turn up and didn't call me. Without me asking for any compensation, I just rang up to ask what had happened, they deliverd my shopping with a £20 voucher and an expensive bottle of red wine (cubcard info came in handy as it was my favourite grape LOL) I also got a credit for the delivery charge so don't let them get away with an extra charge.

    I am noy a VIP there yet obviously.
    The email said they refunded me £3.75.
    So I replied, well thank you but you actually charged me £6.25....
    So today another email saying;"sorry. we have now refunded the remaining £2.40"

    Sounds to me like they can't count properly. And I would have loved a bottle of wine (or a cheap bunch of flowers) But I wont pursue this....:rotfl:
    Manners make the man...:D
  • My delivery was half an hour late. When I phoned to complain they refunded half the delivery charge.
  • I have made them refund a missed box of OXO cubes before now - all of 67p. Is it me or do you get bits of other people's shopping as well?

    Actually, I would take this further because this is adding insult to injury. Even if you are not after compensation, they actually owe you 10p plus how long have you spent chasing them?
    Were your phone calls on a freephone number?

    To most of the replies I wished I did this on my very first delivery oh god, i didnt get all the delivery it was late them some clueless woman delivered the rest in her car and i still didnt get any thing ggggrrr, i did challange for free delivery ect, anyway never mind that.

    I always now ring and get a refund on delivery if its late ect, one day they couldnt deliver on the day i wanted as a van was busted, so I said ok next day is ok, gets the bill and they didnt take off the voucher £10, so rang them up asking about my voucher and said and as you delivered my shopping on a day i didnt book will i get my delivery refunded too? Result!!! The man didnt even argue.:j
    Grocery Challenge. £400. - £35.22 + £19.80 + £109.01 = £164.03
    Other spends (Clothes Luxuries etc)£11.97 + £1.19 + £7.36 + £69.00 + £38.50 + £5.50 + £23.00 +£2.00 = £158.52:shocked::sad:
