I used to see bags of polystyrene beans in the local market.

A tip! When you go to refill the bag, DO NOT OPEN THE ZIP COMPLETELY! If you do, the beans will leap out as if possessed. Only open the zip a small amount, and improvise a funnel from a newspaper or something. This is a two person job!

Dunelm bags cost £4.99 a year ago when I looked.

Or look in yellow pages under upholsters - that's where I got mine from.

i managed to get some from wilkinsons a couple of months back for about a fiver not cheap but its a generous bag compare to others i have seen sold...trick i used to get the balls in was to literally try and get half of the bag in the bean bag with the open part of the bag in first, shake and keep pushing the bag in until you should be able to empty the bag whilst its two thirds in the bean then slowly slide empty bag out...
