Glad your appointment went well. I always think its a good idea to keep books that are useful so you can re-use when you feel down. I have a book about the law of attraction that is very good and every time I find myself feeling a bit down, I read it and it really does help...its all about keeping your thoughts positive, which I actually find quite hard. :)

Thank you :) Yes, I agree, it's handy to keep books like that.

I had a shocking night's sleep last night. I was up worrying about work. That's unusual for me so I wonder if it's the meds. She did say that it might make the anxiety worse to start with. I'm going to work hard today to get the things I was worrying about done so hopefully won't have the same issues tonight.

Chilly out there today, it was like an ice rink by school!

I'm pretty much up to date with surveys, could do with cashing out.

Roll on payday, it's been a long month.

  • I was once told that if you write down what you are worrying about before you go to bed, it helps you to not think about them over night....not tried it, but worth a try.

  • I hope you have a better night's sleep tonight. Great news that you saw the doctor about the anxiety :T. I think the CBT can help with anxiety so definitely self refer yourself. The meds can take a while to bed in but hopefully you'll see positive results soon.

Thank you everyone :) I slept better last night thankfully. Life - I've heard that tip about writing down your worries, I might try it, but I wasn't worrying about work at all until the middle of the night :rotfl:

My doc said I'd probably feel more anxious starting the tablets, but I didn't think it would be this bad. Hoping it settles soon.

I am definitely going to refer myself for the CBT, I know I need to do it. I think you are right Aaleigha, the professional help will focus me more than the DIY.

In money news, I have sold something that has been on for ages :T Also one of my really big books is selling, so that's a decent amount of cash and a big item gone :T

I've completed two of the tasks that were bothering me the other night about work and got good feedback on them so that's something ticked off.

I found 10p on the ground this morning when I was posting my RM stuff :T

We had the boiler serviced today, I'd completely forgotten about it. Luckily I remembered in time to clean up the kitchen before they arrived :T They did go into the bedrooms to bleed the radiators though, that was a bit embarrassing :o
