Hi All, Does a quote of £750 for guttering, downpipes and fascias (no soffits) to a bungalow sound ok? The total length is 30m.

Thanks.

We had ours done 2 years ago on a small terraced house and it cost £800 including a small porch and garage but that was with soffits.

Depends where you are and what they are doing.
Plain white fascia capping boards can be bought for as little as
£10 for 5m length so total cost £60 plus corner caps and joints.
standard guttering isn't that expensive. £200 would probably cover the material cost.

Being a bungalow i assume no specialist access equipment is required so that would leave around £550 for labour on what i guess should be no more than a 2 day job.

Sounds about right for a smallish business.

Are Fascia Boards & Soffits just cosmetic or do they protect the ends of the roof joists?
Is using wood an option, as they always seem to be UPVC these days.
I am aware that mine need doing, will leaving on rotting boards mean that the rotting transfers to the joists, or are they not conected?
