Parking Ticket now with Gladstones

LJmonsters
I'm starting a new thread because I couldn't find any answers relating to my particular circumstances, though I apologize in advance if I'm missed this being discussed!
I received a ticket from UK Cap Park management Ltd for using a car park without authority in Dec 17. I answered the letter explaining I had permission, that I had spoken to the manager of the 5-a-side company that I was using and they had stated I was entitled to use the car park, and offered to provide evidence that supports this.
The letter they sent back had ignored or misconstrued (I think purposefully!) my points and offered inaccurate information on why I still needed to pay this fine.
I have sent them several letters explaining I was entitled to use the car park and there must be have been an issue with the system they use (you have to enter your reg at the reception desk when you arrive).
I have responded, explained the situation and offered to provide evidence to support my right to use the car park but now they have passed this to Gladstones with instructions to go to court.
Should I continue to reply, or wait for my court summons and present my account of the day there instead?
The only thing I have picked up which I should have done differently (apart from coming on here immediately:(....) is to reply via email rather than letter.
Thanks for your time.

for a start , you wont get a "summons" because this is not a criminal matter
gladrags will issue an MCOL using the government office in Northampton, the CCBC which is the centralised office for small claims
yes you keep issuing a rebuttal, like post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ tells you to do
eventually UKCPM will probably tell gladrags to issue the MCOL on their behalf , like the dozens of others we have seen on here this year, so start reading those and bookmarking them so you know exactly what to do when the MCOL arrives and moving forward
the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread post #2 guides you through all this as well0 -

Thanks for the replies. I'll keep an eye on the threads.
The 5-a-side company have offered to give a statement, but they don't own the land, it's part of the university.0 -
Which Uni is that? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.
Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and another company have already been named and shamed, as has Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each year). They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct
Hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned.
The problem has become so rampant that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the House of Commons recently

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind they will be out of business by Christmas. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

Yes please tell us. I want to make sure my nephews avoid it if possible.
IMHO, a notorious ex-clamper firm (like UKCPM, etc.) have no place at a University.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
