Personal independence award/council tax

Hi

Am new member.

I had a text on 30 July saying DWP have enough information to make a decision on pip
Claim.

Today had letter from council tax saying claim has been reviewed following notification of your Personal Independence awards from 19 September.

I’ve not heard anything from the DWP, so is this a good or bad sign?

Sorry so long but am very anxious about it all.

Sounds as if they have awarded you PIP so give them a call and find out. Letters take longer than computer systems which is how the council seem to have been notified.

Should have said this is a DLA to PIP transfer claim.

Thanks. Just texted Cmht - If I don’t get a letter tomorrow my care coordinator will phone DWP. So will know for sure tomorrow. :eek:
So take anti-anxiety meds and TRY to calm down for today.

Local Authority system linked to DWP computer so their system will automatically update without anyone touching your claim at the council.

Thank you - letter came today - enhanced daily living and standard mobillity.

That's a relief.
