Private Parking Ticket

Hi All,
I am just wondering if I could get any help on the legal and following proceding with this ticket do I have a leg to stand on? There have been a number of complaints from my workplace about this company and the estate manager is now squashing tickets that have been given for the reason mine has...
I was in violation of my work carpark's terms and conditions on the 12/03/2018. I have appealed the ticket to the company themselves (3DParking) which surprise surprise was rejected. They are a member of the IPC so I went through the IAS and the appeal still got denied. I also made the mistake of ticking the box that admits I was the driver at the time of the ticket which is a big no no since I have been reading on here. The ticket has then gone to a debt collection company which I ignored, however now a law firm called BW Legal are chasing the ticket I have spoken to them regarding the ticket and it's on hold for 30 days while they gather evidence against me.
The parking violation:
- I was parked without a valid permit displayed
Why I think the parking ticket should be dismissed:
- The carpark the violation occured in my work car park in which there is a book behind reception with a list of number plates allowed to park there.
- My Pass was not displayed for 2.5 hours and I have evidence in a timestamped photo of me putting the pass back on my vehicle at 14:01 when the ticket was issued at 11:35.
- The violation occured on the 12/03/2018 however the date of issue was 29/03/2018 and the notice did not arrive at my address until the 31/03/2018 passing the 14 day limit on the POFA.
- There was no physical ticket at the scene.
What steps forward can I take? Cause I would rather not like legal action taken against me even though I doubt they would...
Thanks,

Pay them and they will have no need. You'll have been mugged but your wish will be fulfilled. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
They are asking for the rather large sum of £160, which I cannot simply afford...
Do you think it is worth setting up a payment plan with the law firm to pay this off monthly as I've just taken a second job to afford to live a bit more comfortably...
Is there no further action I could take to get this squashed do you think? Or was disclosing that I was the driver at the time a game killer?0 -
As you been advised nothing you can do now to get it "squashed"
Why not follow the advice here and wait and see if you get any Court correspondence
They have 6 years to start legal action
If they do you can then decide on whether to fight (which would be the advice here) or offer the payment which you are now considering0 -
Thanks for the reply
,
So you are saying I should just wait and see if any court action does come from this? Because as I read on another thread only 1% or so of tickets actually go to court.
Do you think I have grounds to fight this ticket? Because it seems stupid shelling out £160 for parking in my work car park...0 -
What does the sign look like that specifies that you must display a permit? If you could get a photo of the sign(s) that might be useful. They might change before you go to court, if they file, and the wording on the signs is important.0
