I know Sainsburys credit cards have been having a few issues recently.
Does that include updating the CRA's?
On 29th June I paid off my credit card with them, and closed it.
My new report on clearscore was available today and the Sainsburys card is still showing as Open, with a balance of £976 and it says the info was last updated on 6th June
Has this happened with anyone else?
Do I just wait and it'll update eventually or do I need to contact them?
Asking here first as last time I called them it took them 40 minutes to answer

It will eventually update. Unless clearing that card was a requirement of another lender (mortgage for example) or your income to debt ratio is high and you're planning on making a new credit application, I really wouldn't worry about it.
I do vaguely remember when I last looked at my report on Clearscore that at least one lender hadn't updated them for a while, but I can't remember if it was my Sainsbury MasterCard or something else.
ETA - just checked... my report was last generated on 27th July and Sainsbury last updated them on 6th June as well.0 -
The CRAs can take up to 6 weeks to update your reports, so I wouldn't stress at this point. If nothing is showing by the end of August/September I'd be following up with Sainsburys.
I try to find a online live chat option where I can to avoid being put on hold but if you need to phone them, a tip I use when I need to call companies where I am expecting to be put on hold is to try calling at a time of day when they are likely to be less busy (eg. an hour after their call lines open, and avoid during lunch and straight after work). Or you could request a callback at a time convenient for you.0 -

Thank you all, glad its not just me and seems to be a common issue.
I did get through to them this morning and they said the data gets sent every month, so not sure what's going on0 -
My Clearscore report updated yesterday & my Sainsbury MasterCard account details still haven't been updated on there since 6th June.
Interestingly, my (now closed) TSB current account details haven't been updated since April, not that I'm surprised...0 -
Just an update, the Sainsbury's card is now showing as paid off and closed on my credit report, it says the update was 31st July but only appeared on my report last week0
