Claim PPI from abroad

I'll try to keep this succinct.
Roughly between 2001 to 2005 I had:
1. A Lloyd bank credit card
2. An overdraft facility up to I think 2K on my Lloyds current account.
2. An Egg credit card
3. A personal Loan - for the life of me I can't recall who provided it, it was either Lloyds or Egg, more likely Egg. I think it was for approx 12K, I think.
I was trying to put myself through 3rd level education but I bit off more than I could chew, things went belly up in Uni and I left the county (edit: in Aug 2005) as a direct result of that and the money pressure.
I have this year learnt that the debts I had which I obviously defaulted on have been wiped due to the six year limit on reclaiming them.
Questions:
1. Can I reclaim PPI even though I have defaulted on all the debts.
2. If I can I have absolutely no paperwork - is this a big problem.
3. Can I claim from abroad - I live in Ireland now.
Thanks

1. The redress will be put against any outstanding amounts. The debts are not wiped, just not pursued.
2. You would submit your complaint. If the lender also has no record, then it will go no further.
3. You can complain from anywhere.0
