I seriously doubt it was anything you have done. Martin's team works in mysterious ways!

An interesting group of bakers...although when I showed my lovely old Mum a photo of all the hopefuls, she muttered "hmmmm, no blondes, brunettes or redheads..." I had not noticed the bias towards dark hair before!!!! (Admittedly there ARE two grey haired candidates!)

I thought the Technical Challenge was a good one last night...challenging but a good test of a variety of skills - and took me back to childhood!

On this thread I am Team Ruby....a few anxious moments last night!.....given free choice, I am hoping that Karen will do well.

I enjoyed last nights show. Interesting selection of bakers. Some really good bakes and some disasters, but with a mix of different bakers doing well in different rounds.
Definitely got some favourites, but not learnt all their names yet. So difficult to guess who will do well from the first week, as a good biscuit baker can be rubbish at other things.
Liked the challenges. The technical felt more realistic for home bakers than some they have had in the past.
