Debt Recovery Plus demand for payment. unpaid PCN. What are my options?

Have you now updated your address detail with DVLA on your licence and V5C? If not you should do so. Since the debt collectors have written to both your old and new addresses, it may be worth sending a letter to SMART, making sure they have the correct address for service.0

I have now received a letter from Gladstones solicitors.'Our client now has the option to commence proceedings in the appropriate Civil Court. This right exists for a period of 6 years... A claim would result in an increase in the amount sought in terms of any statutory costs and court fees... our client would like to provide you with this opportunity to contact their agent to make full payment thereby avoiding the consideration of any future court action and increase in the amount claimed.'
Recommended actions?
Sit tight still?
Contact the landowner to request to have the charge withdrawn (I have not done so to date)?
Also letter says 'If you do not pay within the next 14 days, please keep our client and their agents (DRP) updated as to your current address to ensure that your ability to defend any such action is protected as any country court judgment or decree can have a serious effect on a person's credit rating. It is therefore important that you are appraised of any future Court action.;
>> I don't understand the above paragraph. What is it saying? Also Smart Parking did not have my correct address on file, though DRP does. Should I write to Smart Parking to immediately to inform them of my change in address?
I was going to email them at this address:

1) Email smart parking with your correct address, (as previously recommended by Le_Kirk).
2) Was the Galdstones letter sent to the correct address?0 -
Another "scary" letter from the incompetent Gladstones
It's a debt crawler letter designed to worry you.
You must ensure both parties have your current address
You also must contact the landowner NOW and request cancellation.
The landowner might be shocked to read about the rabble they have taken on

FORGET THE IDIOTS AT DRP0 -
Yes letter went to correct address.0

What should I say in my letter to the landowner when requesting cancellation? How to phrase it without implicating the driver..?0
-
Say things like "we visited your retail park...", "we shopped at xyz store and here is a copy of our receipt...".
"We would be grateful if you can arrange for this invoice to be cancelled as we spent a lot of money on your site".
Work in something along the lines of as you have now discovered how expensive parking is there, you will have reconsider where you and you family and friends continue to shop in future.
Easy stuff.0
