Parking ticket

I went to use the Manchester Metro park and ride as I regularly do when travelling to a football ground. The car park was absolutely crammed with no spaces and i parked on a kerb which was not obstructing any other vehicles getting in or out. After the match there was an announcement that the trams would not be available for my return journey and so I had to make alternative arrangements to get back to my car. When I did return I had a parking penalty stuck to my windscreen for not parking in a marked bay. Is this a ticket I can ignore or should I try appealing as there were no other parking facilities available for that tram stop which is just off a bypass?

Who issued the ticket?0

I assume that this was issued by CARE PARKING ? (ANCHOR)
if so , its a METROLINK pcn and should be appealed with the blue text appeal in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread, same as all the other METROLINK pcn,s that have posted on here
and edit post #1 to remove any idea of who was driving
the DRIVER drove on the day
anything after that day is from the KEEPER
the words "MY , ME MYSELF & I" should never be used0 -
It was issued by Care Parking trading name of Anchor SS0

Not sure why you are asking how to appeal it, as this is fully covered in the NEWBIES thread and is the same as all the other Metrolink ones you read.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
