i heard a clink as i was driving down the motorway this morning.
on inspection i found a miniscule chip (size of a flys footprint) in the glass- although it looks much more like a speck of dirt or drizzle of rain.
it is located within the drivers line of sight (although low down).
should i be concerned and get this repaired?
(i already had one bigger sized chip repaired this year-a bit like buses...15 years went by with none and then 2 came along at once)

IMHO -Get it repaired. Same thing happened to me and 2 days later windscreen cracked from top to bottom. Most insurance companies will repair windscreen for free but if it has to be replaced there is often a charge
If you think you are too small to make a difference, try getting in bed with a mosquito!0 -
I'd leave it be, if it is, as you say, just a scratchl.0
