Anyone catch the ad for the new Panasonic digital camera?
I though it looked really good for a "person who is not very technical".
I looked on Argos, but none of their seem to be it.
Any ideas on the rest of the name?

Lumix probably... i've got a 3 year old Panasonic lumix FZ5... it's ace and the quality is brilliant
I can't say it's a 'non technical' camera, but it is pretty damn good0 -
Is that the one set in Paris? I can't remember which model either, but going by the website, it's either the Lumix FX-33 or FX-55:
http://www.panasonic.co.uk/compact/index.htm
FX-33 cheapest here:

FX-55 cheapest here:

I have a Panasonic DMC something or other. Nice camera but the LCD display is totally useless in other than dim/dark conditions. Get yourself a Cannon with viewfinder.Named after my cat, picture coming shortly0

Yes that it, its the Lumix!
Now just need to find the model with all the "toys" thats really simple to work & small'n'light (I want it all don't I, lol).0 -
I gave you the info above, didn't I?Charlie0

Knowing it's a Lumix won't help much as all Panasonics are called Lumix.
Was it an SLR, a bridge camrea or a compact?
If you have a look here it lists the Panasonic models and when they were announced, newest at the top. It also has reviews. I'm seriously considering the Lumix FZ18 if I decide not to go for an SLR. The TZ3 model is alos very nice if you want a compact with a long zoom. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -

If it's the one in Paris with the Nuns and the automatic face detection, it's the FX-33 or FX-55 as above.Charlie0
