NCP / BW Legal County Court Claim

Hello! Newbie here. Firstly thankyou all so much for such an invaluable resource. I have read up on the newbie FAQs and im going try to apply them to defend on behalf on my girlfriend.(hopefully with your help?)
Unfortunately we have only just discovered the great advice on here, not before, in our ineptitude, gf made contact with NCP and admitted that she was driving at the time. Worse than that, gf supplied a direct contact number aswell
.
She also admitted (in the same message direct to NCP) she was happy to pay for the time that she was parked in the carpark.
We now both realise this is not the way to go, to say the least!
The defence however is strengthened somewhat (i hope) as at the time she was there the payment machine was out of order. She then called the payment line and was trying to get payment across. Either her or the ncp then made a mistake and couldnt figure out the correct area code to apply parking to.
Would we still have a case or are we sunk?
Kind Regards,
Matt

Try those search terms (advance search, change to show results as POSTS). Also try:
defence Jolley v Carmel reasonable endeavoursPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Was any payment made."frustration of contract" then
You can forget that. It can't really have been frustrated if there was a helpline and if it was called. If the OP didn't pay the second time, albeit to for the wrong location, there was a breach. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
