DRO Ended 8 months ago, but debt still shows on credit report
I think I might have messed up MAJORLY.
My DRO was due to end in January - and as a 'present' from the world, my step-father passed away the day before it was due to happen.
The last 8 months have been difficult, I dropped out of uni to support my Mum and honestly I completely and utterly forgot about my DRO and my credit reports.
I checked them today and noticed that two our of the three debts were still showing as defaulted with the full amount that had been owed at the beginning of the DRO. I called my creditors - Tesco Bank and Barclaycard. Tesco said my account had been passed to Eversheds, and Barclaycard want me to send proof of the DRO ending.
I have no idea how to get hold of that information, and I only realised today that I only had 3 months after the DRO ended to access any of my information on the IIR.
Really hoping someone might have some advice for me.

Did you not keep your paperwork ?
It will show on your credit file under public information for the next 5 years.

contact the Insolvency Service and request details about your DRO - if you were successfully discharged, then no issues. ask the IS for confirmation you have been discharged, and send it off to the creditors. they will rectify their records.
note though that defaults will stay on your file for 6 years from date of 1st default0 -
