Big Week at the Zoo Competition Additional Terms and Conditions

Competition closes at midday on 24.09.2018 and 3 working days later for postal entries.
1)The prize comprises:

1. Standard class return rail travel for two from the UK mainland station nearest to the prize winner’s home address to Doncaster
2. Return private transfers for two between the train station and the hotel, unless the winner’s home address in Northern Ireland, in which case, the prize will include return economy class flights and transfers to the hotel;
3. Two (2) nights’ accommodation for two at Rossington Hall in The Blue Room (subject to availability);
4. Daily Breakfast for two people;
5. Three-course dinner for two on one evening (excludes drinks);
6. Lunch at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park consisting of one meal (from the menu) and one drink per person.
7. .1 x £30 voucher to be used at catering outlets or the Safari Store at Yorkshire Wildlife Park; and
8. £500 spending money.
9. Entry for two to Yorkshire Wildlife Park on one day with a choice of one of the following animal experiences for two (both the prize winner and their guest must pick the same experience, subject to availability):
   1. Polar Bear Experience (1.5 hours):
      • Breakfast in the park’s safari caf!
      • Assist one of the park’s carnivore rangers with feeding time and hiding enrichment around the Project Polar reserve for the bears to forage
      • Watch from the walkways as the bears are released into the Project Polar reserve to enjoy the enrichment
   2. Carnivore Experience (2 hours):
      • Spend two hours in the company of one of the park’s Carnivore Rangers
      • Visit the areas not normally viewed by regular visitors
      • Meet some of the park’s famous rescue Lions, endangered African Painted dogs or Amur Tigers
      • Opportunity to give enrichment to some of the park’s most popular carnivores, at a safe distance
      • Breakfast in the park’s safari caf! after the experience
   3. Giant Otter Experience (30 minutes):
      • Spend 30 minutes in the company of Giant Otters, Mora and Alexandra and one of the Yorkshire Wildlife Park Rangers
      • Help the rangers provide care to these highly social animals
      • Clean the otter house, learn about and feed them
   4. South America Experience (30 minutes):
      • Spend 30 minutes in the company of one of the park’s Rangers
      • Go behind the scenes in the South America Viva
      • Learn more about the fascinating animals that inhabit the land of South America, from Giant Anteaters to Six-Banded Armadillos

2) The prize winner must book their trip within 28 days of their congratulations e-mail from Element being sent and at least six weeks in advance of their preferred departure date or the prize may be forfeited.
3) The prize must be taken and completed by 31st August 2019. The trip cannot be taken over Christmas & New Year (19 December 2018 to 3 January 2019) or Easter weekend (19 April 2019 to 22 April 2019) The prize and its components are subject to availability.
4) The Polar Bear Experience is suitable for people over the age of 8. The Carnivore Experience is suitable for people over the age of 5. The Giant Otter Experience and South American Experience are suitable for people over the age of 8. All children must be accompanied by a participating adult (age 16+).
5) The animal experience at Yorkshire Wildlife Park is valid for a year from the congratulations e-mail from Element being sent but must be booked within the first six months. Experiences take place throughout the year and are subject to availability. Sensible footwear (closed toe) and clothing are required on the experience. It is advised to wear clothes that the prize winner doesn’t mind getting dirty.
6) Should the prize winner prefer to drive themselves a mileage allowance up to the value of £200 will be offered and the rail allowance and taxi transfers will be forfeited. The allowance will be calculated on a return basis at 45p per mile from the prize winners’ home address Rossington Hall.
7) Where the prize winner is under 18 years old, he/she must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over to check into the property. Please note that either the prize winner or their companion will need a current and valid credit card in order to check into the property for security deposit purposes.
8) It is the responsibility of the prize winner to inform the prize provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the prize winner and his/her companion when taking the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines
9) The prize excludes transfers between the prize winner’s home and the train station/airport of departure, drinks, additional meals, excursions, attractions, spa treatments, gratuities, personal expenses, travel insurance and all other costs and arrangements not expressly included in the prize.
10) The prize and all its elements are subject to availability.
11) There is no cash alternative or refund for unused portions of the prize.
12) Any amendments made by the prize winner after the booking is confirmed may be subject to administration charges levied by the specific supplier. Any such charges will be the responsibility of the prize winner.
13) A cheque for the spending money included in the prize will be issued in the prize winner’s name within 14 days of the holiday booking being confirmed.
