in Credit cards
Hi, this is my first thread.
I am using a company to get my bank charges back. Iknow i should do it but I can't be bothered doing the forms.
They are telling me of a scheme due to legal loopholes that will allow them to put into dispute my credit cards and get the balances wiped out. They are also claiming this can be done with the mortgage.
Has anyone else have knowledge of this or know how it's done.
The company were quite adamant that it was all legit and that like bank cahrges everyone will soon be on the band wagon so to get in quick.
It's just they charge £400 per card if balance below 2500 and 750 if above. These charges can be put onto the cards as they will be wiped off.
Is Martin aware of this. Has he heard any rumblings as such

You do realise that bank charges reclaiming is on hold at the moment due to a test case needing to take place next year to help resolve what a maximum appropriate charge should be?
I ask, because you're paying a company to write a letter to your bank demanding the money back. Your bank will simply write back and say you'll have to wait until the test case is over. Surely you can write that letter (better still, use one of Martin's templates) and if the test case goes in favour of reclaiming you'll most likely get your money easily, and best of all keep 100%. Everything rests on this case so having a company write that letter for you isn't going to make a shred of difference to how successful you are.
Don't let these companies make a fool out of you. Why throw your money away like that?
