UPVC Window age?

Hi all,

Is there anyway of telling how old my windows and doors are please.

    The window inserts may be dated - look inside the sealed unit.

    I checked and the date says 1991, is this the age? as my landlord is telling me they were redone in 2010?

    My understanding is that the date on the sealed units is their date, and the frames could be older (if new sealed units were installed). I don't think it would be the other way around.

    If they were CERTASS registered, you could run a search on the property address. It may be that some of the sealed units were replaced in 2010 but not others.
