Parking charge help

Hi,

I received a PCN from NCP. I displayed my ticket, got back to the car before the ticket expired. However I received a phone call when I got back to the car, took the call and then left the car park. 2 weeks later I received a PCN because I left the car park after the ticket had expired and was recorded by an ANPR camera. Do I have to swallow this charge?

Is the NEWBIES thread invisible or did you just overlook it when hitting 'new thread' instead of reading the advice thread that covers ALL private parking charges?
