Printer not printing properly

Can anyone help with my printer before I chuck it away and buy a new one!

The print is very pale and stripey. I have changed the black and coloured inks and its still not printing. I've also cleaned the printer head. Its an Epson Colour 440. Thank you.

I had one like this and had to clean the head cleaner quite a few times before it came right, but it did become clear again.

Mine was a Epson Stylus Colour 460 and its still great,I keep it as a spare as I bought the Epson Stylus CX6600 which I am well pleased with.

I hope you manage to sort yours out.

I had a same model sometime back before upgrading to a HP PSC. Have had this problem and cleaning is the only solution. Changing the head costs too much and may be the problem here. And yea, if you want to dump it, sell it on ebay. You will retrieve atleast 30-40% money by selling it as spares/repairs.
