Ukcps

I received a parking fine for not displaying a parking ticket on a UKCPS car park even though I had paid and displayed a ticket.
I appealed the ticket and it was denied.
I did not pay the parking fine andhavw now received a letter through the post from DRP (debt collection agency) threatening to take me to court.
There is no number or email to appeal this there is just the phone number to pay the fine.

Should I pay the £160 fine or should I continue to ignore the letter?

IGNORE drp , they are powerless

DRP are not threatening to take you to court , read the letter again

they are threatening you with them telling UKCPS to take you to court, ie:- dobbing you in back to UKCPS

DRP cannot issue a court case

No they haven't. Read it very carefully again.

Send your £160 to me rather than them. Or otherwise read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #4 about dealing with debt collectors.

Looks like I've missed out on another £160 with my honest advice. Shoot!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Also search the forum for UKCPS and read all the other threads - nothing happens in most cases except letters.

If you get a court claim, be reassured that we see 99% wins (no risk by defending).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
