  • Update: Morrison's have said that they cannot have the charge cancelled as it is a private landlord and they have no jurisdiction.
  • I'm tempted to complete the IAS appeal. I've read that it's not worth bothering but I'm figuring last ditch. Might get a pot luck win?

Your chance of success is very low, literally pot luck as you put it, and you risk giving away information you might like to keep to yourself in case it does end up in court.

Update: Morrison's have said that they cannot have the charge cancelled as it is a private landlord and they have no jurisdiction.

Then you find out who the private landlord is (Google the name of the retail park, and/or ask Morrisons), and send that landlord/agent your complaint in your own words:
Basically, long and short is I was 5 minutes over the 'grace period' tending to my baby. I'm not going to sugar coat it for you her nappy leaked and she was covered in 💩. I had to change her before we left. I naively thought this would be a legitimate extenuating circumstance but I was clearly wrong.

I've never been in this situation. I've never been late back before and I took full responsibility and naively expected some compassion. This has been so stressful.

NONONONONO and ''MORE NO'' to trying IAS. No.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
