Cashback when changing tariff with same provider

If you have set up your details correctly and the Cheap Energy Club says that you will get the cashback then you probably will get it.
I have in the past with E.ON but it is down to the energy provider at the end of the day.0 -
Just to confirm what gsmlnx says.
If you have input the correct details to the CEC (or any other comparison site) and the comparison site allows you to still switch/transfer via them, then you will receive any cashback the comparison site indicates.
If cashback is not available, it will becuse the comparison site will not be paid by the supplier. Therefore the comparison site will not allow you to switch/transfer via themselves. (since they won't get any payment for getting involved)0
