All of what madvix said - I'm another one following the rules to a "t" - I had a fencer around this morning to give a quote, and I was watching for him so he didn't even have to approach the front door.  Then he wanted me to hold one end of his tape measure,measuring the length of my fence, and I gently backed away and he got his mate to go do it.  He was very understanding because his wife is shielding.  Those momentary things when you don't think ...

Well DD1 is offically 18. We had a lovely wkend, spent 3 days celebrating with family (all socially distancing). The hubbster was feeling worse for wear by day 3 especially since we'd been drinking lots of cocktails on the the Saturday night. Wasn't too sure about the blue lagoon one as it just looked like blue loo stuff, but too be honest we'd drunk that much by then we didn't care too much. Although the cost of it all to make it special was on the expensive side (mourn the days of just going out with friends, her not me, I'm more of a hermit these days) I think she had a good time. Her sister made her a photgraph album of pictures of DD1 over the last 18 years and got family to sign it, the hubbster's mum passed on some pearls (something to do with debutants blah, blah) do like a recyled present though plus money towards a computer, she got money off various other relatives, running shoes and tracker and we paid for her driving insurance. She passed her driving theory test today whoop whoop.  
Other news the hubbster has been offered some work from his old place of work a couple days a week for the next couple of weeks which will hopefully help cover the wage drop from his current job. Counting down the days until we find out if his job is under threat or not.
Spent time at the allotment yesterday and managed to harvest dinner and tea. Need to sow some more carrots and cauliflowers to extend the season.

Just got back from my 2nd walk of the day as DD1 run didn't go to plan and she wanted to complete 10,000 steps (she got a new tracker for her birthday). I've started doing yoga every morning as the doctor prescribed me some medication for sciatica which I felt was over kill as I'd have to take it everyday and had quite alot of side effects. I'd not actually gone for my back as I can manage that. I'd been feeling really bloated for the last month and felt as if I was constantly going to start my period . Sending me for a internal ovary scan (again) and a variety of blood test and urine sample (which is clear). He thinks I may have pulled some ligamnets in my lower abdomen. I think the actual problem is related to ongoing problems with my digestive tract which seems to be a family weakness, since going to see him and starting yoga my bloating has reduced and the pain seems to have gone. Anyway he's the doctor so will see what they find or hopefully don't find. I also think I need to stop drinking alcohol, I only drink at weekends but I'm finding my stomach is not happy at all the following day. 
Anyway on a more positive note been to the bank to pay in some money and cheques. The kids went and paid money in too. Spent an hour looking into which laptop DD1 wants to get for when she goes to uni.Hopefully she will find one tomorrow when she can go and 'feel them'! rather than going with just what it says on line.
DD2 not great today as she is really suffering from hayfever today as they have cut the fields around us and is very tired as she helped clean her dad's car out yesterday.

1) Homegrown pea and mint soup (took the hubbster 3 hours to pod them, I reckon 2 hours sowing, watering and weeding and 20 minutes to make, so approx 5 bowls of soup took 5hours and 20 minutes man hours and cost approx £3.25 to make ).
2) Had a lovely chat with DD2's old TA.

Though sympathies on the bloating - so uncomfortable.  I avoid a lot of foods for that reason.

Been a funny old day, met up with sister for a walk and then came home via the petrol station. Noticed the price of petrol is slowly creeping up again. DD1 decided on which computer she wants and chose the only one that you couldn't order online, so had a trip into town only to be told we could only order it on line but it would arrive the next day at the store. Tried to order once we got home but couldn't get it at our local store, so drove 40 miles to the nearest one to pick it up. Anyway I've earned the right to be the best parent for the next 24 hours as the hubbster refused to drive her to pick it up. She is mega pleased with it and keeps hugging it, I'm just pleased I didn't have to pay for it. She just needs one of those padded bags so we are hoping to recycle an old wetsuit although I think they went to a charity shop last year. However the hubbster has a bright orange one which he refuses to get rid of as he might wear it (not been on in the last 20 years, but you know one day..........). 
Mum is finally out of quaratine and we are hoping DD2 will go there this weekend as we are all ready for a break.  
Still trying to pin the hubbster down to talk about our plan B and C if he's made redundant next week or in the following months, but can't find him for all the sand and ostrich feathers. If he's not made redundant we'd like to book somewhere quite in Wales, September time just the 2 of us. So maybe that can be plan D.
