The last few days i have been looking for a new deal with Iresa going under. I notice today on many price comparison sites when asked for you previous supplier & i try to enter Irsea, it pops up that this company is no longer trading & is now Octopus. So they compare with their prices & not irsea. Then you get lots of cheaper alternatives because octopus aint cheap.
Why cant they also just make it simple & say this company charge x amount per KW, ie: 12p & not things like 11.928p. Have you ever been to a shop & seen a price on a pair of jeans at £19.989.
PS: Any good deals & feedback would help.

Does it really matter how much you are going to save or how much extra it is going to cost you as what is done is done and you are not going to change it. The comparison sites list the suppliers in annual cost order, you make your decision based on that. The suppliers charge to 2 decimal places not including VAT so it is only fair the sites list as such.0

As the comparison site correctly informs you, you are no longer a customer of Iresa.
In fact, no one has been an ongoing customer of Iresa since the beginning of this month.
Sorry about any confusion you may be under regarding this, but you should have been contacted giving you all the information. I see elsewhere on this board that many ex-Iresa customers have been contacted and know the situation fully.
Even if you haven't received notification, I also know that MSE have been running their own comprehensive news articles on this site to keep people fully up to date with what is happening following Iresa ceasing trading..0 -
You already know what you paid Iresa-and that option is no longer available. You can put in any tariff you like as your current one: what matters is the comparative data.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
