Fridge freezer getting too warm

I bought a secondhand LG GR232SBF fridge freezer recently with a 6 month warranty - the temperature sometimes rises to 7-10 C in the fridge and -15C in the freezer before the cooling system starts up.
Is this normal and if not how can it be fixed? Or should I just get it replaced by the retailer (if they're still around)?

what setting is it on?
according to the manual there are 3 W-N-C
I think that is a frost free model, it will have a anti frost cycle where it blows warmer air round, could be that.0 -
Both settings are on N and have tried them higher but that makes both compartments too cold and causes food in the freezer to freeze.
It is frost free
The problem with the temperatue is it occasionally rises to 10c in the fridge and last night to 0c in the freezer. It's back down to normal temp now.0 -

How are you measuring the temperatures? I assume a frost free freezer stays frost free by removing any ice build up with occasional blasts of air that is cool, but not freezing. 0C might not be unreasonable. If this is the air temperature for a very short interval then food won't defrost significantly. Similar would apply to the fridge, I suppose.
If you're measuring the temperature with a max/min thermometer placed near the air inlet, it might register very short-duration events of warmer air. Maybe you could try using a temperature probe placed in a glass of water (for the fridge) or maybe buried in a bag of peas (for the freezer).0 -

.
I'm measuring each with a circular air temperature thermometer
I'm wondering is this normal too - the air temperature was 0c (-18c is normal) in the freezer and 10c (3-5c is normal) for around 20-30 minutes that I know of then it was back to normal this morning. Is this a fault or just a function to prevent build up of frost?0 -
What you are describing is not normal.
In the (admittedly few) frost free fridge freezers I've worked on there is a small heater element that just periodically defrosts the evaporator. I think there would be some fault to cause enough heat from this process to warm up the compartments.0 -
Check the outlets (at least two) shown on page 5 of the manual are not blocked
