Are you guys actually having me on lol?! I'm just trying to help you make money on the side. I'm a regular member at PA actually, hence why I feel they're the better one to sign up to. In fact, I had signed up to Odds Monkey at one point, but their forum was far less busy so the offers and help wasn't as frequent.

But actually, there are free matched betting websites out there to get you started, even if you only do the sign up offers you can make an easy £1k.

@YoungBlueEyes Pretty stupid not to even consider giving it a go. I still can't get my head around people that look down on it, or simply choose not to understand it. Here, I'll even post my profit this month with the total to date so far... https://www.imageupload.co.uk/image/43p7

It is definitely zero risk. I have done it before too, for several months, and I made a solid profit each time.

It's not a road to riches though. It's quite time consuming, you have to keep setting up new accounts. And once you are past the intro offers (which, when I did it, did not total anything like 1k, more like £500), it becomes a real slog.

I kept a spreadsheet and made about 1.5k over about 8 months. Not bad but not huge. I gave it up after agreeing overtime with my employer at the time and earning a lot more extra cash that way.

I would like to see an example list of transactions that would lead you to 'easily' make 1.5k a month. Most non-starting offers are small (£10 - £25) and so you are looking at about 30 minutes work to make an average of about £10-15, and you are limited by the total number of offers available. Plus if you over do it, gambling companies just close your accounts.

So I agree it's worthwhile for a cash injection or small extra income but I surprised you are managing to make quite so much from it.

It really depends how much money you have available to put into matched betting. My ‘bank’ right now is £25k+ so I can get on a lot of offers at the same time.

Main income now would be from B365 2UP offer. If your team goes 2 goals ahead they pay out as a winner. So if the other team comes back to draw/win then you win both the back bet and the lay bet! For instance, the Nottingham Forest game tonight was a perfect 2up turnaround, if you had a £500 matched bet on Birmingham you would have made £1k profit on that game alone!

My main profit comes from arbs right now, where the bookie odds are better than the exchange lay odds (Smarkets & Matchbook are 0% commission until 2019 which really helps). Arbs alone have made me £1500+ this month alone! Still easy money if you have the money available to plough into it :j

By the way though - I should have added although it's profitable it's clearly a terrible idea if saving for a mortgage. That level of gambling on your statements will cause a lot of problems with your mortgage applications.

Still, I have my mortgage now, on a long fix, so it's probably a good time to start back up :-) .

    Definitely give it another go!

I always thought that regarding bookies on your statement, but haven’t had any issues with either mortgage (both with Santander). This time round, the 3 month statement I gave to them had £90k deposits into bookies and £95k+ withdrawals lol, no questions asked!
