Comfortable stacking/collapse-able chairs

Space is limited in our dining area, and for 95% of the year it's just us two and little'un in his high chair. When we have friends and family over though we need more chairs.
Our current chairs are just cheap ikea jobbies that are not nice to sit on or look at. Anyone got any suggestions for some more comfortable chairs that can be stacked or collapsed?
Ideally we'd like to get 4-6 matching stacking/collapseable chairs, but if no such thing exists we might to resort to getting a couple of nice ones and then 4 guest chairs that we can keep in the loft.

I've bought these for the bar at a new rugby club. They have some other stacking chairs too. I looked at a lot of places for comfortable stacking chairs and decided that these were the most comfortable and best value for money.
Bit industrial, I guess it depends on your style at home.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I had a similar situation in my first home and used folding directors chairs for donkeys years - they were the same colour as my dining room, stacked when not in use and transferred to the garden when required!!0

Sounds like a lot of faff for the few times somebody might visit... could you "compromise" and just get some thick/comfortable seat pads, like the sort you might get on a 2-part garden chair, all in one piece, with a seam where it changes from being under your bum to up your back.0
