As above can I use a normal PIR sensor to switch on 2 x 100w LED floodlights please?
They are 100w LED, not 100w equivalent

Yes but what is a normal PIR sensor and what are you trying to achieve?0

I have a Steinel model switching 2 x 70W LEDs
I *think* its this one, do check the specs.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Steinel-Infrared-Motion-Sensor-Detector/dp/B000ODSILQ0 -
Should be able to - plenty of 300-500 watt PIR sensors around (presumably to tie in with yer common halogen lamps).
You building your own footie stadium..?0 -

This sensor:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Smartwares-ES90-Motion-detector-Adjustable/dp/B00WX1KRUM/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1534679519&sr=8-3&keywords=pir+sensor
And I want to illuminate the large back garden from 2 positions if anyone ventues into it, so was thinking 1 x 100w LED floodlight on each corner of the house, both wired to the above PIR so when it detects movement, both come on and blind whoever shouldnt be there0 -

Something like that, our garden backs onto a tree lined alleyway and woodland so want to illuminate the entire garden if we can, as bright as possible if anyone gets into it0 -
My cats enjoy the PIR floodlight game.
When I call them in you can see the garden from 4 doors away light up, then the 3rd, then the 4th goes off, 2nd on, etc.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
If it is large enough to need 2 100w led a single PIR may not be sufficient to capture all entries.
The setup will make close to the house fulnerable as anyone looking at the house can't see people under the lights.0
