Good strong vine eyes?

Hi, can anyone recommend a place to purchase good heavy duty vine eyes?
I bought some back in January from Wickes and fixed them into garden wall as part of a wire support for an espalier apple tree.
I got 3 inch ones as I wanted the wires to be held 2 inches from the wall for airflow
When I came to tighten the wires with turnbuckles the vine eyes bent. This happened as soon as I started tightening. Luckily I had spares in the packet. I ended up having to re drill the holes deeper and screwing the vine eyes all the way into the wall.
Cobbled together spacers to force the wire away from the wall.
Anyway I'm wanting to erect wires again on my garden shed wall, to support wisteria
But I'd like to be able to use strong vine eyes that can stick out from the wall without risking them failing the second I try to tension the wires.
I know they must exist as I've seen them set up like this in other gardens.
Thanks
