Parking Eye fine

We have a parking fine from Parking Eye with letters now reaching County Court Claim. This was from a hospital car park - we have sent 2 appeal letters and have the parking ticket which fell short of the time as the car park notice instructions were - we discovered later - for 2 hours £2 or 4 hours £4 - we paid £3 and stayed 2hrs 45 (mother had been rushed into hospital). The fine is £70 and we have had no acknowledgement of appeal letters.
Do we ignore this as we have appealed and they are ignoring these letters. How do we stand legally - this was Sunderland general hospital.

It is not a fine.
Complain to the BPA and DVLA that Parking Lie didn't reply to the appeals.
The NEWBIES tells you how to appeal, and if you are at court stage, post 2 of the NEWBIES tells you how to deal with that as well in a step by step guide by a poster called bargepole.
Complain to PALS and your MP about this unregulated scam.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
No you do not ignore or they will get a default judgement against you, this is now real, though it is not and never was a "fine"!
Unfortunately you tried to apply logic and fair play to a scam and lost the argument, you will now either have to pay up or defend in the SCC.
It's explained in the newbies thread at the top of the forum.
