Windows Live Hotmail keeps Blocking my newsletter from MoneySaving Expert.com

Hi,

For some reason Windows Live Hotmail keeps Blocking my newsletter from MoneySaving Expert.com. It says it is a highly risky email and potentially dangerous etc, but it doesn't give me the option to mark it as safe.

I have even added the email address in my address book and safe/safe senders list, but still I get this problem. Is there a solution to this apart from enter a new email address for the newsletter?

Thanks.

i just had that happen with a notification. there was the option to still open the message but as i have never had that before i just found it through the user cp on the site instead.
so if you are confident it is safe then just click on the part were it asks if you want to open it.

I know it is OK to open but the problem is normally you get the option to "mark as safe" but with this email I don't, so every time I receive the weekly email I have to keep clicking the "show contents" option rather than being able to view the email as normal.

I would like to be able to make it so this email is received and displayed as the other emails I receive.

Join the club. I lost Martin's newsletter months ago. I've tried various things, ie unsubscribe/subscribe, with no luck. Oh how I miss his weekly musings/tips etc.

It would be interesting to see how many other Hotmail users have experienced this problem since switching to Windows Live mail and what, if anything, that the money saving expert.com site can do to solve this problem e.g. has Microsoft been contacted to be made aware of this etc.

I'm sure if a newsletter can be proved not to be spam etc that it can be released from Hotmail's junk filters.

this problem is new it seems. it has only been from today that the problem has come about for myself. if you dont want to have to click on show content in the red bar all the time the only option i guess is to start a new email address somewhere else and perhaps use it solely for this site. although that would be more of a mess around than clicking on show content all the time.

Afraid I have no solution but just to throw a spanner in the works, all my newsletters goto a windows live account and I don't have this issue with the MSE one. I do know MS has made it's spam filtering a lot more strict but don't know why it affects some people and not others, I assume different servers/firewalls/rulesets are used.

i am a member of another forum that uses the same company for their forum and i dont get problems with emails from that site. the issue must be specific to this site rather than the forum alone.

Yes, I too receive emails from other forums so i have the feeling it might be a glitch at this end.

:hello:Hello superior techie beings - please help a newbie pc user and forum member. I am  . I really have tried to sort this by myself and have wasted hours. Hotmail query again - I only recently learnt how to get thread and post updates sent through  on regular basis to my hotmail account.

I have tried every which way to get MSE on my safe sender/mailer list  and it still gets bl**dy blocked 'for my safety' .

Having searched techie posts, it would appear I have the same problem as OP's. I really don't want to get another email address. Would it have to be with a different crew other that MSN/Hotmail?
