We are having a party soon and I think we are going to offer 2 or 3 diy cocktails.
All the ingredients/bottles on the side with laminated 'how to make' pinned up.
As I am not normally a cocktail drinker, does anyone have any recommendations as to what generally goes down well, especially where there is a crossover of ingredients/bottles required.
Many Thanks

Last time we had a cocktail night we used every single glass in the house, including the ones that we never, ever need to use and had to keep washing up continually to keep up with demand.
My son had to carry my next door neighbour up to her bed. :rotfl:
Try to keep to a minimum of spirits and google a few different uses for them.
I think our main ones were cosmopolitans, margaritas and B52s but you need fresh lime for margaritas which is not easy, but I LOVE them.
I think !!!!!! star martinis are really popular at the moment. You can buy passion fruit juice in 1 litre long life cartons, so that's not hard.
Probably something else featuring prosecco - a simple prosecco royale or a bellini, maybe? You could do a choice of prosecco cocktails even, that's relatively simple.

As above, with an added option, a wheelbarrow. We got most of our neighbours [nearly] home that way....or nearly.0

You tube may be helpful .0 -
Prosecco with a dash of apple juice and elderflower cordial. Or swap those with a creme de cassis/Chambord.0

Moscow Mules are fun - vodka, limes and ginger beer (great without the vodka too if anyone is teetotal)
French Martini is gorgeous - vodka, pineapple juice and chambourd - small abut perfectly formed
Pornstar Martini'sare very popular (but never had one!)
My friend once took gin, elderflower cordial, topped it up with fizz (Cava) and then sploshed in a half a tub of lemon sorbet - it was delish!!
We do a cocktail evening every Christmas and ask people to bring one along and I drink all sorts of wonderful stuff that i would never choose for myself!!
Great idea for a fun evening........Doozewrgirl is right though - be prepared to use every single glass in your house!!0
