OK so they can hold you liable as keeper, as expected really. No paying though!
Just send a template POPLA appeal as per the NEWBIES thread then, as per all the other Minster Baywatch POPLA cases you can find when you search the forum.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Can I ask a quick question, should the signage be lit, if the parking charges cover 24/7? Whilst I think the notification of the £100 charge is fairly well displayed (if you look) but at the time I visited, it was dusk and signage was not clearly visible.0

This is what the BPA Code of Practice says:Signs should be readable and understandable at all times, including during the hours of darkness or at dusk if and when parking enforcement activity takes place at those times. This can be achieved in a variety of ways such as by direct lighting or by using the lighting for the parking area. If the sign itself is not directly or indirectly lit, we suggest that it should be made of a retro-reflective material similar to that used on public roads and described in theTraffic Signs Manual. Dark-coloured areas do not need to be reflective.

Hi there,
How are you getting on with this case? I have also had a charge for the same place around the same date and it's coming to the end of the time in which I can pay the £60 charge before it increases to £100.
I was just interested to know your progress as if you've had to pay it, I will also (begrudgingly!) pay mine now before the increase.
Thanks for your help!0 -

Why are you thinking about paying instead of appealing and paying nothing?
Please read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES then appeal using the template you will find there.
If you need further help after that, please start your own thread instead of hijacking someone else's. You will get bespoke help on how to fight this scam on your own thread.
Nobody here will advise you to pay the discount for mugs, but go for the MSE 100% discount instead.
Your comment asking if the OP has had to pay it doesn't make sense. Nobody has to pay anything unless a judge says so, and you haven't been to court so that isn't relevant.I married my cousin.
