Ppi amount difference

I was recently sent a ppi claim invitation from Natwest bank giving a figure of £847 premium, I sent off the form and have now received an offer of £144, when I phoned their PPI team, I was told that the £847 was just an estimate and that when it was examined further the figure was £144, is there anyway I can get this checked or do I have to accept the lower figure

If you dont believe it then you can pay for an actuary to work it out. Probably cost you over £1000.

The CCLs they send out inviting complaint are made up figures based on collective averages.
