Replacing washing machine with dishwaser

Hey,
How easy is it to replace a washing machine for a dishwasher? Is it a straight swap?
Not got much plumbing experience, although relatively handy at DIY and succesfully replumbed my kitchen sink.
Getting a plumber round for another job so deciding if it's worth getting him to do both jobs.

I would imagine that it would be a very simple swap over.
Just don't expect a dishwasher to wash your clothes as well as a washing machine.

Should be a straight swap: you need a cold feed, drain, and power. If it's an older w/m then you might need to cap off the hot feed if present.
If you can plumb a kitchen sink in, then it should take you less than 30 mins: no actual plumbing is involved.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
