Aviva Endowment PPI

Has anybody discovered whether or not PPI was levied as part of Aviva endowment mortgages sold in the 80s and 90s?

    PPI was not available for endowments.
    Did you have critical or life insurance policies?, these are not PPI.

    It is not possible to have PPI on endowments. Just not possible.

    You could have had a seperate PPI policy to cover the mortgage but it would be unrelated to the Endowment policy.

    Aviva only became Aviva in 2002. Before that it was CGNU plc. Mainly used the Norwich Union brand until maybe a decade or so ago.

    Was the mortgage from CGNU/Aviva or just the endowment policy?

    The simplest thing to do would be to ask Aviva.
