Redundancy effects on Benefits

I am expecting a redundancy payment of around £1200 as my company is going burst. However I already have a job lined up for myself. My question is I am the receiver of Tax credit (working & Child), Child benefits, and housing benefits, therefore I am wondering does this redundancy payment will decrease my these benefits money? Or does this redundancy payment will have no effect on the amount I am getting as benefits, considering I already have job secured with same number of hours.
Thanks

It is probably too low to affect anything but you will need to declare it0
