PCN taken to court (BW Legal) - Advice needed
Comments

OK so you must have filed that defence.Hi Guys,
Can I please have some feedback about the defence posted below?
@Coupon-mad, @KeithP, @Umkomaas, @IamEmanresu, @Bargepole Can I have your comments on my draft?
The defence is due to be filed by 4pm tomorrow, so I'm running out of time and struggling to understand if what I wrote is good enough.
Then, shortly, you will get a DQ to serve & file, as you will know from bargepole's 'what happens when'' post in the NEWBIES thread section on court.
Come back at Witness Statement and evidence stage, start reading through example WS and evidence (again there are some in the NEWBIES thread but also of course, some new ones here every week to read).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi guys, I'm back

Yesterday I've received a letter from Northampton CCBC to submit the form N180. I've downloaded the form from the hmctsformfinder.justice.gov.uk website and completed it according to the information found in one of the bargepole's posts.
The letter says that I need to send the form to the court office and serve copies on all other parties.
Can I send the form by email or needs to be by post? If needs to be by post, should I send a signed mail or can I use normal mail? The claimant is Countrywide Parking and the solicitor BW Legal, do I need to send a copy of the form to both, or just for the solicitor?0 -
Just the solicitor (NOT the claimant) and email is fine.
If posting to a solicitor - e.g. where you have no email address to send it to - NEVER use 'signed for', which merely gives them the option of not signing!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Send your completed Directions Questionnaire to the same email address that you sent your Defence - see post #4 above.
Send a copy to BWL. Email is fine if you have an email address.0 -
The letters from BW Legal have an email address (disputeresolution@bwlegal.co.uk).
Can I just send the email to the court (CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk) and add BW Legal in CC? Or should I send 2 separated emails?0
